The pattern
Putting MCP config in the repo, not in a laptop dotfile.
Claude web, Cursor Cloud, Amp orbs, and Copilot cloud all drop some user-local MCP. If the server matters, commit it.
Jules is the strictest: a hand-selected allowlist as of 2 February 2026, for security.
Taps out. Codex cloud MCP inside the container is not documented on official pages retrieved this day.
